The Ministry of Natural Resources carefully plans the management of the Game Preserve. Reforestation of cut-over and burned out areas occurs on an ongoing basis. Logging and mining are carefully controlled to ensure minimal impact of the environment. Replanted areas may be observed along most roads in the Preserve. Overall, wildlife seems undisturbed by human activity or industry.
