The lakes and rivers of the Preserve provide anglers with a variety and abundance of fish. Species include walleye, northern pike, lake trout, splake, yellow perch, lake whitefish and smallmouth bass. The best time to fish is in the spring and fall, although any truly dedicated fisherman can be successful throughout the year.
