Coming from Southern Ontario, you will travel along Highway 17 West through the mining town of Sudbury until you reach Thessalon. From Thessalon you take Highway 129 north. That will get you to Chapleau in 2.5 hours. You may also take Highway 554 at Iron Bridge then take Highway 129 north. That will get you to Chapleau in about 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can travel along Highway 17 West through a mining town of Sudbury then you may take Highway 144 north. From the Watershed Restaurant go West on Hwy 560 which is a curvy gravel road. Then, when you get to Sultan travel west on Hwy 667 to Highway 129 and then north to Chapleau. From Sudbury this route takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to Chapleau.
