| Each year we receive a sizable grant from the Ontario Arts Council towards the fees paid to our artists. Without this grant and the financial support of our sponsors, it would be impossible for us to present this series of concerts for your enjoyment. [more...] |
| The Board of Directors consists of volunteers who look after the actual operations of Chapleau Performing Arts. Among other things, these people book the artists, make sure everything is set up for the performances, prepare and sell season tickets, bake and serve refreshments at intermission, keep track of finances, and do fundraising. Chapleau Performing Arts presents touring artists performing music, comedy, dance,
and drama. We present three to six performances each season, running from about late September
to April or May. The actual performance dates depend on each artist's touring schedule. |
