Setting Fires & PermitsThe Council of Township of Chapleau wishes a safe beautiful summer and to remind all residents of some of the regulations of By-Law 2015-15. Premier Kathleen Wynne concluded her second mission to China today in Beijing, where 38 new agreements valued at $750 million were signed by delegates. This brings the estimated total value of agreements from the mission to $2.5 billion. Ontario elementary school teachers voted overwhelmingly to accept a new contract with the province this morning, ending months of negotiations that included a lengthy work-to-rule campaign.
